Our Story

We first opened our doors back in 1960 when Frank and Elizabeth Rickard first opened F&E Rickard's Butchers.
After being a traditional family butchers for many decades and making Biltong and Droewors since 2014, we have changed direction to focus on the South African side with a brand new refurbishment and look.
Still going strong today, and three generations down the line, we are excited to take a different spin on our traditional butchery.
We are very proud of our history and our trusted suppliers ensuring the best quality local meat .
