All our products will be dispatch as soon as possible with orders being processed as soon as ready. Typically this is within a week of any orders received. Orders will be dispatched, using a courier of our choosing, to the address stipulated on your invoice/packing slip. It is your responsibility to make sure the details are correct otherwise our courier might not be able to fulfil the delivery and any re-deliveries will result in an extra postage charge.
We offer free postage to all mainland UK orders above £60.
The seller (F & E Rickards Butchers) will decided how to post your items to you including method, date and time of delivery. if you are unable to receive your items for any reason and they are returned to us a courier charge will be incurred plus any additional costs of re-posting your order to you.
We cannot accept any responsibility for delays or disruptions to deliveries caused by difficult access, no one being home or incorrect address details when delivering your products.
A significant amount of time (usually 10 business days) should be allow to pass once an item has been dispatched to allow for the delivery to be delivered encase of any delays from the courier or unforeseen circumstances. This time frame should also be adhered to before a claim that the package has not been delivered or a refund is requested. Any undelivered claims or refund requests will be not be acted on within this time frame (unless deemed by management) to allow to delivery to take place.
Your goods may require a signature upon delivery however if the goods are left at the address in an agreed safe place by the customer and courier then F & E Rickards Butchers (us) takes no responsibility if the product is waterlogged or stolen, leaving a product in a safe place is at the customers risk.
The Delivery address should include an house number/name where applicable, a street/road name along will a full and valid postcode. A telephone number is beneficial in case the courier can not find the address. Someone should be at the address to accept the delivery.
Any dates and times given are approximates and refusing to accept the product due to late or early deliveries is not an acceptable reason.
All items must be inspected at the time of delivery and refused at the time of delivery if the item is damaged. After this we will not be responsible to replace any damaged goods at our cost.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
We are very proud of the quality of our products, so much so that in the unlikely event that you have a complaint with our product please notify us by email within 24hours of receiving your order. We would require full details of the condition of good and packaging. All complaints will be dealt with on merit, and refunds or replacements will be made at the discretion of management. Claims and complaints made after this period may not be entertained. Failing to notify us within the 24 hour period will void our guarantee.
Delivery charges are not included in any refund policy and the customer is responsible for the cost of returning any goods, unless otherwise decided by F & E Rickards Butchers.
