Although we have been a family butchery since 1960, back in 2014 we were asked by other South African customers if we could make biltong for them as they we fed up with the supermarket products. Since then our biltong has grown and grown in popularity, so much so that we have now mostly stopped the traditional butchery side to focus more on the South African meats.

Biltong is an incredibly delicious and moreish beef meat snack. It is very high in protein, around 50% and very low in carbs and sugars which makes it a great alternative to other snack foods. 

It is the perfect snack for all occasions.
